Le Frenchy is a fast-food concept that brings the spirit of French street food culture to The Gambia through a bold, playful, and highly expressive visual identity.
The branding combines iconic French references with a contemporary street-style aesthetic, creating a distinctive personality that feels both energetic and approachable. Inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of Parisian cafés, street food stands, and classic French culture, the visual system is built around bold typography, hand-drawn illustrations, and the unmistakable colors of France: red and blue.
French expressions such as “Oh là là,” “C’est très bon,” and “Bon appétit” become graphic elements themselves, adding character, humor, and a strong sense of place. These are complemented by a series of custom illustrations featuring playful French-inspired symbols—from chefs, crêpes, burgers, and fries to the Eiffel Tower, the Gallic rooster, mustaches, hearts, and expressive hand gestures.
The logo reflects the brand’s dual personality: a script-style “Le” introduces a touch of French charm, while the bold “Frenchy” wordmark brings confidence, visibility, and a modern fast-food attitude.
The result is a vibrant identity that celebrates French culture without taking itself too seriously—capturing the essence of France through a fresh, contemporary lens and transforming it into a memorable fast-food experience.
