Eu-genious Greek Flavors!
Eugenia Hobson – born in Zakynthos, Greece – is a renowned chef working in the U.S for the past 30 years. In her long career she conducted menus for many famous Greek cuisine restaurants and received great reviews. With respect to the successful career of their mom Eugenia her children created a modern Greek restaurant in Great Falls (Virginia, USA), that focuses on pies, pastries and sweets (made of pie leaf) and Greek traditional dough, dishes that Americans think as very original or even exotic. Dishes as such, in their simplicity take a truly knowledgeable chef to achieve perfection or to put it simply in culinary terms: you become a chef only when you bake well!
Given the brand name “Our mom Eugenia” that is focusing on Eugenia Hobson’s “motherly care” for each and every dish, a logotype was created that through the visuals of the rolling pin, flour mill, wheat fork and pie pieces highlights the purity, care and preparation by hand, that is the chef’s signature mark and adds the notions of “homely” and “handmade” in the overall concept of the restaurant. The slogan “Kind food for kind people” and the messages “Euge!” and “Eu-genious Greek Flavors”- all inspired by Eugenia’s name – complete the in-store and site communication of the brand “Our mom Eugenia”.
