Lose yourself in Crete
Title: “Screw the map. Lose yourself in Crete.”
submission poster for the exhibition “100 Posters for Crete”
100 graphic designers from Greece and Cyprus create a poster for Crete raising funds for the work of ELEPAP Chania and Orizontas, two of the most active nonprofit organisations for children with disabilities, in Chania. The exhibition is co-organised by the Region of Crete, the Regional Unit of Chania, the Municipality of Chania and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chania. The aim of the exhibition is firstly to support the two fund raising organisations of the city and secondly to feature the greek graphic design the best way there is. A favourite destination of Greece was selected at the peak of the tourist season so that as many people possible will attend the exhibition and will carry their impressions all over the world. The exhibition will take place from July 27th to August 18th 2017 at the Firkas Fortress, in the heart of the Venetian Harbour of Chania. The coordination of the exhibition is arranged by Vassilis Pitsonis (a graphic designer who lives and works in Chania), who I would like to thank again for the invitation!
